Avanti is returning to SmartCityExpo World Congress, November 3-5, in Barcelona, alongside our partners DENSO, DENSO TEN, and MOTER. Together, we will showcase how our technologies fit together to help make smart cities safer for pedestrians, cyclists and drivers.
Visitors will be able to explore technologies from all four companies.
Avanti’s contribution will feature MERMAID, which brings environmental sensing and AI traffic monitoring together to help cities understand how mobility interacts with the urban environment, and PERCEPTA, which analyzes that data together with existing street camera data. MERMAID’s configurable sensing systems combine traffic information, including vehicle type, speed and direction, with measurements of air quality and noise.
DENSO will display its V2X roadside unit (RSU) and on-board unit (OBU), enabling real-time communication between vehicles and smart infrastructure like MERMAID.
DENSO TEN and MOTER will present a cockpit-style mockup of DriveSage, a platform that uses driving data and gamification to encourage safer driving and help reduce insurance risk.
Our joint showcase will demonstrate how these complementary systems bring together urban sensing, connected infrastructure and insights into driver behaviour around a shared goal: safer streets.
