Avanti R&D recently welcomed the Frisco Economic Development Corporation and representatives from the City of Frisco for a discussion about business collaboration and practical applications of emerging technology.
The October 27 meeting explored how Avanti could support innovation within Frisco’s corporate community and how Frisco’s business network could help connect our work with new opportunities. We appreciated the chance to learn about the city’s priorities and discuss where our R&D experience might contribute.
Connecting research with business needs
A central topic was the opportunity to connect Avanti with local corporations seeking support for their innovation efforts. Our work involves helping companies develop and test new technology concepts, including building early-stage solutions that allow teams to evaluate ideas before making larger investments.
We discussed how those capabilities could support businesses in Frisco, along with opportunities to engage Avanti’s clients in innovation activities in the city. For us, these conversations are a useful starting point for understanding business needs and identifying projects where collaboration makes sense.
Frisco EDC also shared information about its business resources and networks. We look forward to learning more about how Avanti might participate in that community.
